The famous bondi beach icebergs. We are open for lunch from 12.00 noon and dinner from 6.30 p.m. Tueday - sunday. The restaurant also features a relaxed bar which is ideal for watching waves and taking in the cool pacific ocean breeze. This is international dining at its best led by a talented team - matched with the worlds best view, facing north up bondi beach. The famous bondi beach icebergs, where Sydney-siders come for their early morning swim in the salt pool, is now home to one of Australia's most famous restaurants. Icebergs Dining Room and Forbid is made up of a team of passionate, gifted and hard active hospitality professionals. Over the years the Dining Room has seen members of our team rise to immense heights and go on to do particular things. We are honored to have worked with such talented individuals and to continue active with our stylish distinguished team every day. Maurice termini is best known for stamping his indelible mark and style on both the Sydney and Melbourne dining experience. His lengthy history in the hospitality industry and gift for fostering lasting clever relationships have seen him establish not only some of Australia’s maximum iconic dining venues, but also a number of Sydney’s maximum recognizable events. Born to Italian parents in Melbourne, early years spent back in Italy cemented in him a love of his culture and heritage, awakening a lifelong passion for Italian hospitality. More than a decade on, Icebergs is calm at the forefront of the Australian culinary landscape, thanks to termini’s gift for dreaming the huge picture and executing it, often ahead of his time and breaking ground in ideas, style and locations. A lifelong interest in food and succeeding travels to Europe and the UK to encourage this enthusiasm have polished his techniques, with stints at establishments including La Trompette and The Grill Room at the Dorchester Hotel in London. At Icebergs we were excited to welcome Koludrovic to the team premature in 2014 and to see his passion in action. Rachel Duffy began waitressing at the delicate age of 16 earlier completing a degree in management at university. She visited The Melbourne Wine Room in 1996 and was so taken by the venue that from that moment on she knew she wanted to work closely with Maurice termini. Her determination and solid labor were rewarded in 2005 when Duffy met termini at a Liquor Accord meeting and asked him for a job. With particular thanks to our key Suppliers Producers.
