What you should know about Megaswim School
Mega Swim’s 30 minute programs are designed and written by Meg Amauchi to introduce you and your kid to the wonders of the water in a safe, interactive, nurturing environment. Children are classed into their motoring development age groups and consideration is taken on preceding experience and skill level. The importance of the correct class for your child is not overlooked at Mega Swim and is fundamental in a certain ongoing learning experience. The emphasis of this program is safety and survival. This is a nurturing time with lots of reassurance given with sound knowledge to back it up. Babies and babies’ parents like a relaxed atmosphere at this level. The parent caregiver is facilitated professionally by the baby toddler teacher to ensure a positive water educational experience. We are familiar with games, toys, skills and activities, we are really optimistic and love swimming lesson. However if at this age we have honest starting swimming we can be quite cautious. Fair as healthy our teacher has put us in the right class for our skill level. We need regular and familiarity as healthy as baby steps to ensure our time in the water is a positive, caring and loving experience with our parent carer and teacher. Our teacher has now turned from a baby toddler teacher to a swimming instructor. This is the beginning class without the parent caregiver in the water. Streamlined body, rotations and strengthening survival swimming, the introduction of kicking for freestyle and backstroke. There is a lot to learn here so time, care, tolerance and love is required. Now swimming freestyle and backstroke, skills and drills for breaststroke and butterfly, competitive dives, starts turns and finishes. Each class is taken through a safety survival program good for level, aptitude and age. Last week she fell into our pool, prior we got to her she had turned around lower water and grabbed for the side of the pool as she came up. Maggie has created a marvelous learning environment where the children are each valued for exactly where they are at. Meg is outstanding (and very professional) at what she does. She helps not only the children with growing their confidence and skills in the water, but also their parents and caregivers to have confidence in the water with their children too. Lots of love xx Edwina. She is so supportive and friendly, so the class dynamic is lovely. Since we started, Meg has been very encouraging which has made me feel more confident as a father.
