The Bronte Sewing Room is a relaxed and friendly place where sewing classes are taught and ideas shared. Our aim is to teach you, to inspire you through your creative process and above all to help you have a great time while you learn. These include pattern making, textile design, theatre and film costume design, design and construction of garments, soft furnishings and more. Our teachers love teaching ! They are enthusiastic and have experience in many related fields. As well as our sewing classes we offer regular crochet, knitting and patternmaking classes and half-day workshops such as "getting to know your sewing machine" or overlocker workshops. We also offer one-on-one HSC private tuition for students with their major works. Our kids sewing classes are for ages 9+ and we run after school classes from Mondays to Thursdays during school terms as well as a number of fun classes each school holidays. We offer day or evening group sewing classes for adults and we are happy to design private classes which cater to your specific needs.
